Arizona Tax Credit Giving

Give more. Cost you less.

Eligible Arizona individual taxpayers may be able to receive a dollar-for-dollar state income-tax credit for qualifying cash contributions to RISE & DREAM Foundation — a certified Qualifying Charitable Organization (QCO).

A dollar-for-dollar credit — not just a deduction.

Arizona law allows eligible individual taxpayers to claim a credit against their state income tax for cash contributions made to Qualifying Charitable Organizations (QCOs). Unlike a deduction, which reduces taxable income, a tax credit reduces your actual tax liability dollar for dollar — up to the applicable limit.

RISE & DREAM Foundation is a certified QCO. Contributions that meet Arizona Department of Revenue requirements may qualify for this credit. Eligibility, credit limits, and filing requirements are subject to current Arizona law and ADOR guidance.

Three straightforward steps.

01

Make a qualifying cash contribution

Donate to RISE & DREAM Foundation by cash, check, or credit card. Arizona law allows eligible QCO contributions made during the tax year, and qualifying contributions made from January 1 through April 15 of the following year may generally be applied to either the current or preceding taxable year, subject to Arizona Department of Revenue requirements.

02

Receive your donation acknowledgment

RISE & DREAM Foundation will provide written acknowledgment of your contribution, including the information required for your Arizona tax filing.

03

Claim the credit on your Arizona return

Complete Arizona Form 321 and attach it to your state income tax return. Your tax professional can confirm the correct credit amount and filing procedure for your situation.
